I have learned many things in my life, most after my school days. Some worth knowing and some not so worth knowing. This is called a River Birch Tree. Vary popular with homeowners as part of the landscape layout. I learned while working for a tree maintenence company here in Cincinnati, you can peel the bark off this tree and light it on fire. Not needing any time to dry or cure, it will burn a good size flame giving off a dark smoke. Worthless info but thought I would share it with you.
