Just curious... How far is this?

I did spend just a few minutes 'googleing' this info, there must be a document somewhere with this info.

So it turns out a bit more complicated than I thought. My calculations, figured eye level at 5.5 ft, I can see 2.884 miles, approx. or 3.10 miles on the other calculation, for what I need this information for, that is "good enough" = just more useless knowledge in my head.
