Did Nixon really invent inflation or was that Chip Wood?

Playing devil's advocate/idiot; I will pose a question. Is it the president that defines the economy or is it the economy that defines a president. Was Ronald Reagan just at the right time or was it just the time was right for Ronald Reagan? Seems we have not really had quite the boom since he (Reagan) was in office. Though I do commend Bush (the younger one) in dealing with a problem that had no solution (9-11).  Just as there will be poor always, there will always be evil. You really can't declare war on evil. Of course then again, that is a lovely Pandora's box to define evil. I think the economy will ebb and flow with little help from the president. There is the issue of tax burden, which is about the only thing the president can do to change the economy. Even so, corporations and rich people make a lot of money, so do you even the tax burden with a set percentage, or do you give beaks to the higher earners? I mean any way you set it; wealthy people pay more. Is it just an ebb and flow with the president getting the credit or is the president deserving of that credit?

giants

History, strange to refer planetary science as history, but the highest resolution photos of Neptune were taken by the Voyager twins back in the 70's. The two space craft Voyager 1 and 2 are now nearing the edge of the solar system. Talk about enlightening... things behave quite different beyond the touch of  Sol. At the edge of the solar system, solar wind is all but nonexistant, heat from our sun is negligible, the only thing that remains constant would be space... empty and cold. Do a google on Voyager, I'm sure you will be filled in on the heliodrome, or what ever the band in space at the edge of the  solar system is called, which we would know nothing of if not for Voyager 1 and 2. Star Trek did an episode featuring Voyager, as the alien vessel would keep making mention to "veeger" Spock figured that one out, go figure huh?
One thing just occurred to me, seems all the Gas/Ice Giants have turbulent "big spots" weather systems on them, Jupiter has its big red spot, Saturn has a great Yellow and here on Neptune you see the great blue spot. Just an observance.
Also noticed, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, the "solid" planets are inside the asteroid belt, once past that, the only solid forms are moons, all "planets" would be gas/ice giants. Something to do with solar wind, and/or heat... too obvious to over look.
Signing off, your roving space reporter, Neo... good day all.
