Strange indeed.
As this was a song I learned on the guitar before I ever even knew the song, I went to get the record and in listening to the song I was thinking 39, maybe 1639, sounded like a song of old talking about the "new lands" well just heard Brian May with an account of the song. It is about the "Volunteers" on a space ship leave Earth for what they think is a year and turns out 100 years have passed when they return. Sort of the Planet of the Apes, Woody Allen 'Sleeper' or "Rip van Winkle" scenario
