Ares I-X

Progress:  Ares I-X transport vehicle on the launch pad set for the first test launch on October 27. Much of the new rocket is original, some parts are taken from past rocket blue prints. Read more here 
I was a big sci-fi fan in my youth, I sat awestruck witnessing the Apollo missions, I get excited about the new stuff NASA has for the future of Space Exploration.
