Her Eyes

I'm telling you it was her eyes
stopped me, dead in my tracks
and now that I know her I can't get her out of my head
I wish I could better understand this feeling
without a past experience to go on
stopped me, dead in my tracks
yea, I have
I have felt love before, this was something more
It was her eyes...
How can I explain when I don't know what it was
as if she saw me... just a photograph
I tried, I did
I tried to leave it, as if it were just another
I couldn't forget
It was her eyes
And then she spoke
as soft as a gentle breeze
and genuine kindness
And a touch softer than her voice
all starting at just a look
It was her eyes
