The opinions of A Pirate Named Neo

In my estimation, text is not a good way to get to know a person. As the standard text message is generally not proofed to correct mistakes; beyond the typos and misspellings, there is the wording, arrangement and composition of the paragraph/phrase being text to the other person. This, in addition to the lack of  inflection, and overall "feeling" the words become just words.

HOW ABOUT SOME PERSONAL INTERACTION?

do you catch my drift?  (commonly known as "just saying")

I agree completely, Ive often got myself into trouble with my short texts. I keep them short, sharp and to me at least they make complete sense... sadly they often seem curt and angry to other people
