good morning

Being a lawn care tech I don't like to see this sort of image, I would prefer to be able to see the turf I am applying my wares upon. While the urea based nitrogen is a salt and will melt through, this image would be less devastating in 5 weeks as there are about 2 weeks of work to do yet. Hoping field work is done by Thanksgiving and then settle into the winter routine of maintenence on equipment and cleaning house in the shop. Eventually work will become telephones call call call, no big deal.
about this image:
I think this lawn has good potential, with proper fertilization and control of weeds, both grassy and broadleaf..... oh shit, there I go again being a lawn care salesman.

No but really the south facing hill on the front yard could end up being the issue, especially on the years with rough summers.

And though they do give me some time to write, I am not so happy about "late starts". Drags the day just a little. I like to get in, get on the road and get wrapped up early. Its really bad in the full season when I end up with this time for a rain delay. At least now in the late season I still get home early.

by the way, you are looking at 30 thousand square foot of lawn here counting what is inside the fence line. I have days that I treat lawns 40-100 square foot and then there is Shaffer day. 220 thousand square ft. (acre= 43,500 sqft) but you know what, it does rather quickly, a couple of hours and on to another.
well time to go, catch ya when I get back

I am tempted to take a break from what I am doing and picture this. I so love the diary of a lawn care salesman.
