Piranhacide

   

This strikes me as rather odd; but then again I do live in the United States. Wasn't there a joke about nuclear bomb goes off, safest place would be Ohio, takes 10 years for stuff to get there? Anyway, I was thinking about the "do not call" list; generally applies to land line phones. I am hearing the list of all cell/smart phones was recently thrown out to the piranhas known as "Telemarketers". Well, a new list of phone numbers for the piranhas to fester over. "Fresh meat" so to speak. We will define "Telemarketer" as one that markets products/ services/not profit/political info/one that calls strangers off a random list with the sole intention of passing information, advertisement, etc. Basically an electronic Piranah.

United Socialist States of America

     A twist on an old Beatles tune... Welcome to the USSA... Barack is our leader... term limits? A dictator has no term limits. Why is congress so afraid of this man? Or is it a conspiracy? The man is a fraud... If you don't see that go back to school or learn what Truth and Justice is really all about. I am guaranteed certain "inalienable rights". If health care is one of these rights why do I have to sign up for it and why is it costing me money to have this right; and why will it cost me money to "opt out" of this right? Richard Nixon resigned to avoid Impeachment, all he did was have microphones hid in a room... Forcing me to buy something I don't want to buy is in my book is Tyranny. I thought our "right to bear weapons" was supposed to be a cure for this. What happened to following the Constitution? Have we forgotten where America came from and the lives lost to secure our freedom? Separation of Church and State? is this unless it includes the Quran? Is it inhospitable to display my countries flag? Should I be worried about who is offended? I was born here, and I am a "natural born citizen"  Beyond the fact that he really shouldn't be president; as an illegal alien shouldn't he at least leave me to worship my beliefs?

     Ah, you say he has proof of being born in New Jersey... I mean Hawaii. Wasn't the proof provided AFTER he had time to produce such documents? Trust me here, you don't hide something that is in the right and legit... His birth documents were hidden under court order... RED FLAG my friends... I personally thought his first term to be less than par, I wonder how he made it to his second term? Unless the American people have just lost all trust in the government and are willing to just let the chips fall where they fall. 

No, not lawn chairs...

   
Years past, this time would be spent as a telemarketer; "Hi, this is Greg with 'company name here'. Typical response would be, "I already put my lawn chairs away."
"I said Lawn Care".
      Now I know your are not thinking lawn care at this moment. I do want to remind you though, it was a tough year here at home, all plants took a beating in the drought and that does include the green carpet you call "my lawn". On the bad side, your lawn may need additional seeding this spring. If you are going to be doing any seeding please advise your lawn care provider with that information. The first application on a regular program does include a 'crabgrass control' herbicide; will by nature of the product prevent seed from germinating. Small areas can be 'roughed up' with a hard rake to break that chemical barrier.  Larger areas of seeding it would be best to hold off the crabgrass control until after the new turf has been established. 

     On the good side, turf is a very resilient plant. With just a little water can put up with some harsh conditions. I'm sure your lawn has lost some density through the drought, proper fertilization will no doubt help this situation.
