When the laff is free of charge

     So after a text message or 3; my friend comes to pick me up at the apartment. Seems she wanted to go for a ride around and asked if I would join her. We end up at Starbucks ordering a Latte or 2. Five bucks for a bad cup of coffee? Well if you pull out all the sweets, berries, flavors and what not, yes, its a bad cup

of coffee. Never the less... we order, move along (sorta busy, 3-4 cars in front and countless behind). Now I am just the spectator here, passenger, along for the ride; beyond the "pay it forward" experience a very funny thing occurred. Driving back home she turns to me and says (at a traffic light of course) "How offended were you by that cup in your hands". (crash of the cymbal)

United Socialist States of America

     A twist on an old Beatles tune... Welcome to the USSA... Barack is our leader... term limits? A dictator has no term limits. Why is congress so afraid of this man? Or is it a conspiracy? The man is a fraud... If you don't see that go back to school or learn what Truth and Justice is really all about. I am guaranteed certain "inalienable rights". If health care is one of these rights why do I have to sign up for it and why is it costing me money to have this right; and why will it cost me money to "opt out" of this right? Richard Nixon resigned to avoid Impeachment, all he did was have microphones hid in a room... Forcing me to buy something I don't want to buy is in my book is Tyranny. I thought our "right to bear weapons" was supposed to be a cure for this. What happened to following the Constitution? Have we forgotten where America came from and the lives lost to secure our freedom? Separation of Church and State? is this unless it includes the Quran? Is it inhospitable to display my countries flag? Should I be worried about who is offended? I was born here, and I am a "natural born citizen"  Beyond the fact that he really shouldn't be president; as an illegal alien shouldn't he at least leave me to worship my beliefs?

     Ah, you say he has proof of being born in New Jersey... I mean Hawaii. Wasn't the proof provided AFTER he had time to produce such documents? Trust me here, you don't hide something that is in the right and legit... His birth documents were hidden under court order... RED FLAG my friends... I personally thought his first term to be less than par, I wonder how he made it to his second term? Unless the American people have just lost all trust in the government and are willing to just let the chips fall where they fall. 

What in the World Happened?

     My heroes growing up? Well there was Popeye, Yosemite Sam, Batman (of course) the list does go on. Do pay attention though, all my heroes where surrounded with violence; and yet I grew up to be a rather Nonviolent individual. Oh and my #1 hero, my dad; owned a recreational fire arm, drank beer, rode a dirt bike and cursed alot (especially when he was repairing his dirt bike)...   All the elements are there... following my heroes I should at least be carrying a weapon. So what happened? What I don't understand in today's youth is the need to be "bad". Several mass killings at schools in the past 10 or so years, hear in the news kids involved in homicides, arrested for carrying an unregistered hand gun, rape and murder, its just a shot away... oh, sorry Rolling Stones; we will cover in another post. Back to the subject at hand, I do see one marked difference. I got by butt (stronger term needed here) whipped with a belt, when necessary. Maybe an 'example' for my brother and sister; I don't remember them getting beat (oops, harsh term) call it "getting corporal punishment". Are the kids taking over? Who's in charge here? After a while (5th grade or so) I did not like school anymore, but I certainly never got the idea to come in with an automatic rifle and kill. I never had the idea in my head that carrying a fire arm was "cool". My dad's pistol was in the house, I was sneaky enough to take it and go to school with it, but I guess I had enough intelligence to not do that. Is there something in the Book of Revelations about kids taking over near the end? Or did I miss that?

 

And you think you have it bad...

How can you call it a court ORDER when the courts themselves can't seem to enforce it? It happens all the time, happened to me when I had custody of my daughter, you see and hear about it all the time and now hits home again with my girlfriend, divorced and raising 2 kids on her own. And then to make matters worse, the schmoe is working under the table, skips on his taxes and turns to the Government and gets assistance in the form of food stamps. This pisses me off past the point he is cheating his x wife of child support, he is draining the system with no need... and this is costing tax dollars that I pay! CSEA (child support ENFORCEMENT agency)... ha, what a joke, and not one of the funny jokes. I said so many times when I was "receiving" child support, "You could get more done with a bunch of monkeys behind those desks"! The thing that really bothers me is its not just an isolated incident, it happens more than you would think. All the while government employees making payroll bigger than life, congress giving themselves a raise every year and it goes on unchecked, not refuted, or substantiated by anyone. Where does the madness stop. For all the x husbands out there (a few x wives too) ... the money you send to child support is not making your x wealthy... it is picking up the slack where your sorry ass decided go bunk on a financial promise! 
Think about it, while the mortgage goes unpaid, the food dwindles, and electric is about to be cut off the X husband lives, in a nice apartment, with a pool, utilities paid and doesn't go hungry at the cost of the tax paying citizen... Pretty lame if you were to ask me. THAT'S JUST ONE MANS OPINION!
