Getting Screwed

Obamacare: as said by my BLACK neighbor "God Damn you Fucking Nigger" and that is a quote!! As I said over a year ago, "They will find a way to take your tax return away from you" Was I right? Hell yes. That or the $2000 it costs to "Buy" health insurance. First president  to make a law to Buy something. And still you tell me Insurance Companies don't run this country? First comes Insuring your vehicle... well ok, I can skirt that by not driving... but Health Insurance? the only way to skirt that is to die... is there something wrong with this? HELL YES!!! Yes it is fair to give the poor and retired a break but to cost the average hard working American about $2000 a year is to say the least "Unconstitutional". Well, after all, it was a terrorist who devised this law. Hussein Obama?? How the hell did this Terrorist get into office to begin with? Oh yea, the American voters are idiots. (sorry to offend anyone) but... fuck you. just like the Government is doing with Social Security. You do realize if you die before collecting SS the government keeps your money (taken out of Your PayCheck) < do note the caps in there. And just take a look at all the other mismanagement of tax money. Need I do on? If government were a private industry it would have been out of business long ago. Mismanagement, over spending, poor budgeting, Company waste, over spending, over budget, poor employee management, the list goes on and on and on. I think it is high time to take up our arms (which the government is always trying to take away) and over throw the tyrants that claim to be running a government "for the people and by the people".

The Future

I have spoke before about the rodent name of computer hardware. It is now time to move beyond the mouse... the new technology leans to the Mongolian Gerbil. Yes... the future is the Gerbil rather than the mouse. Mice are bad news, women jumping up on chairs and even Elephants are scared of this terrible rodent. I mean who could be afraid of a Mongolian Gerbil? They are so cute. So having just replaced my computer mouse with a computer (Logitech) gerbil I am confident my computer skills will far exceed yours. Not because I know more but simply my rodent is not as horrifying as yours.

Healthcare or Taxes; you be the judge

Well lets look at this; Taxation without representation, a bunch of corrupt politicians, a president that is in office illegitimately (not born in the USA)  "Affordable Healthcare? Do you not see the way you are getting screwed? Even if you are getting a "tax return" (think about that, Uncle Sam holding your money with no interest) aren't you getting less? Affordable Healthcare is anything but Affordable.  Remember the Boston Tea Party... Taxation without representation? What if the "representation" is a bunch of corrupt individuals? Just think about that.

What in the World Happened?

My heroes growing up? Well there was Popeye, Yosemite Sam, Batman (of course) the list does go on. Do pay attention though, all my heroes where surrounded with violence; and yet I grew up to be a rather Nonviolent individual. Oh and my #1 hero, my dad; owned a recreational fire arm, drank beer, rode a dirt bike and cursed alot (especially when he was repairing his dirt bike)...   All the elements are there... following my heroes I should at least be carrying a weapon. So what happened? What I don't understand in today's youth is the need to be "bad". Several mass killings at schools in the past 10 or so years, hear in the news kids involved in homicides, arrested for carrying an unregistered hand gun, rape and murder, its just a shot away... oh, sorry Rolling Stones; we will cover in another post. Back to the subject at hand, I do see one marked difference. I got by butt (stronger term needed here) whipped with a belt, when necessary. Maybe an 'example' for my brother and sister; I don't remember them getting beat (oops, harsh term) call it "getting corporal punishment". Are the kids taking over? Who's in charge here? After a while (5th grade or so) I did not like school anymore, but I certainly never got the idea to come in with an automatic rifle and kill. I never had the idea in my head that carrying a fire arm was "cool". My dad's pistol was in the house, I was sneaky enough to take it and go to school with it, but I guess I had enough intelligence to not do that. Is there something in the Book of Revelations about kids taking over near the end? Or did I miss that?

I'm a little confused...

Its been a long while (anyway you measure "while") since I went to school. So the memories left have become the more important ones. Getting hurt at recess, the teachers that standout, good and bad, and the other "ingrained in my memory" incidents that occurred in that brief period of my life. One thing I do remember are the bullies; and mind you bullies were not making national news. I often wonder what changed that bullies and bully-ing have become national spot lights. I remember my mom telling me,specifically what boys I was Not allowed to 'hang' with. Generally speaking, these were the known bullies of the local neighborhood. There were times I did not listen to mom, sometimes all went well, others, well these were the times I did get in trouble. The reason I am writing this post is a)I have nothing better to do, and b) I hear news reports featuring bullies. Now, I'm intelligent but not a scholar; hearing stories of  "bullies" causing suicide. Peh....leaz.... Seems to me there are enough issues in this subject to create an entire catalog. If one person were to be held responsible for suicide it would in my book be the victim. Obviously there is more behind this story than just the bully be cruel.  My mom and dad always said, the bully is just trying to be tough; ignore, walk away, report, do what needs to be done, but don't start a fight.  I am just an average guy, well, a bit thin, so I never really wanted to be in a fight. Ignore and walk away was usually my defense. I guess some would refer to that as cowering down; making me the coward at first look. I didn't see it that way; I had enough respect for myself to see it as avoiding a fight. Why give the bully what he is looking for. Like one time at a new high school I attended, this one guy, quite a bit bigger then I told me I was "goofy" so I looked him straight in the eye and said, "Yuk yuk yuk" (you do remember Goofy) walked away. Never heard from him again.
I guess this post was spawned from seeing in the "suggested reading" panel on my blog, a blog titled "how to raise kids to not be bullies". I was thinking, if this is a subject that requires research we are in deeper trouble than I thought.

Stripes on the Shoulder

Just for a minute, if that, think... think
Think about the people that have made a difference, good or bad, in your life.
Well, yea... Mom and Dad. Need I say more? but I will. Mom and Dad is an important entity. Provider, protector, Keeper if you will. The single most important job in the world and you don't even need any training for it. My Mom and Dad while mistakes where made did a great job and they are definitely put in the Good column.
The little boy who cracked me in the head with a board at age 5, hmmm... lets put him in the Bad column. I thought he was my friend, ha....
Ms Wynn, Ms Smith, and of course (my brother will disagree on this one) Ms Moore. In the good column. Especially Ms Moore.  These were a few of my elementary school teachers. Another very important role in a child's life.  Ms Wynn, I don't exactly remember, early school, think she was my 1st grade teacher. I just remember her being very nice.  Ms Smith, I recall, very hot! Excuse me ladies (I was a young BOY). Long flowing dark hair, always tied back, well you get the picture, I enjoyed class time. Ms Moore; now there's the one I remember most. English, literature, if you will in the 5th grade. She saw in me what I did not see and seemingly made me her project of the year. She was always kind, would work with me one on one to critique my writing. She made the class a challenge.  She just neglected to teach me about semi-colons; shame, could have  avoided all the red ink on my term papers for incomplete sentences. Note that I am not remembering my teachers of the later years. I think those in the education field must go through a sort of military training before allowed to teach at the Jr/Sr High School level. Seems the 'perfect teacher', you know, the kind, warm hearted, caring, understanding type; gets plowed over, used and abused by the 'not so good' kids. Therefore, being weeded out of the system to be replaced by the Hitlerish, demanding evil soul that really knows how to teach young adults. (this is just a theory)
