Color for men

     So...

Who was it that decided nail color is just for females? Men painting their nails is coming back in style after some 3 thousand years.
This all started a few years back when my daughter lived with me. She used to paint my toe nails, just one or two of them. I would look down and see the art work and really did like it. I thought, what about the rest of them? They look so plain with out any color. I now also color my fingernails. A bit shocking at first. I did some searching and reading on the subject. Through my research I did find Brad Pitt and  Johnny Depp both paint their nails.  At the bar I consider my neighborhood pub I was questioned why and even assumed by at least one gal to be gay. I have read many men painting their nails come across the same experience. Dare to be different is what I would call it. Why limit yourself to unpolished nails? The colors are endless.

Getting Screwed

Obamacare: as said by my BLACK neighbor "God Damn you Fucking Nigger" and that is a quote!! As I said over a year ago, "They will find a way to take your tax return away from you" Was I right? Hell yes. That or the $2000 it costs to "Buy" health insurance. First president  to make a law to Buy something. And still you tell me Insurance Companies don't run this country? First comes Insuring your vehicle... well ok, I can skirt that by not driving... but Health Insurance? the only way to skirt that is to die... is there something wrong with this? HELL YES!!! Yes it is fair to give the poor and retired a break but to cost the average hard working American about $2000 a year is to say the least "Unconstitutional". Well, after all, it was a terrorist who devised this law. Hussein Obama?? How the hell did this Terrorist get into office to begin with? Oh yea, the American voters are idiots. (sorry to offend anyone) but... fuck you. just like the Government is doing with Social Security. You do realize if you die before collecting SS the government keeps your money (taken out of Your PayCheck) < do note the caps in there. And just take a look at all the other mismanagement of tax money. Need I do on? If government were a private industry it would have been out of business long ago. Mismanagement, over spending, poor budgeting, Company waste, over spending, over budget, poor employee management, the list goes on and on and on. I think it is high time to take up our arms (which the government is always trying to take away) and over throw the tyrants that claim to be running a government "for the people and by the people".

I think this comparison holds water (so to speak)

Keep in mind, where ever you go "Guns are not bad... people are"
How many are killed in automobile crashes every year?
and this makes cars a bad thing... Right?

Christmas or Eve?

My main question is why do some exchange gifts on Christmas eve, rather than Christmas morning?
a) According to the story handed to me, Santa Clause goes out Christmas eve to deliver the gifts. How would I open the gifts before they arrive?
b) wouldn't this be sorta like writing a check on New Years eve with tomorrows date on it?
c) doesn't this effectively change the date of Christmas to the 24th? and if we keep the tradition wouldn't the 23rd be better day to celebrate? make that the 22nd.. 21st, 20th, 19th, 18th...
d) I think to confuse people we should do it on the last Sunday of December. If the date of his death is a variable, should not his birth be as well?
e) out on a limb here... Muslims don't get the day off, they don't believe in Christ... same would hold true for Atheists.
f) Can I (wanting to conform with the rest of society) celebrate Independence Day on July 3rd?
g) What about my birthday?
h) What does his birth certificate say about his date of birth?
i) As long as we are covering this subject; what about BC vs AD, what about the 33 years he was alive?
j) where did this idea of an overweight elf come into play?

Just some questions to ponder on...

Just for those not sure which side of the fence to be on, I know Santa is real cause the cookies and milk where gone in the morning... if he wasn't there (even though we didn't have a chimney) where did the cookies and milk go?

When the laff is free of charge

So after a text message or 3; my friend comes to pick me up at the apartment. Seems she wanted to go for a ride around and asked if I would join her. We end up at Starbucks ordering a Latte or 2. Five bucks for a bad cup of coffee? Well if you pull out all the sweets, berries, flavors and what not, yes, its a bad cup
of coffee. Never the less... we order, move along (sorta busy, 3-4 cars in front and countless behind). Now I am just the spectator here, passenger, along for the ride; beyond the "pay it forward" experience a very funny thing occurred. Driving back home she turns to me and says (at a traffic light of course) "How offended were you by that cup in your hands". (crash of the cymbal)

The Future

I have spoke before about the rodent name of computer hardware. It is now time to move beyond the mouse... the new technology leans to the Mongolian Gerbil. Yes... the future is the Gerbil rather than the mouse. Mice are bad news, women jumping up on chairs and even Elephants are scared of this terrible rodent. I mean who could be afraid of a Mongolian Gerbil? They are so cute. So having just replaced my computer mouse with a computer (Logitech) gerbil I am confident my computer skills will far exceed yours. Not because I know more but simply my rodent is not as horrifying as yours.

Gerbils

Conspiracy I say. The mouse sits at the top, has a computer device named for,
feed and the wheel, lets not forget the wheel. The hamster, specific feed AND the "habit-trail". Then there is the Mongolian Gerbil, who has nothing. Go to the pet store and tell me if you can find a feed container, listed specifically for the Mongolian Gerbil.

Wait a minute...

Ok, hold the boat for a minute. It's now LAW to have health insurance... This is you know the sketchiest insurance there is... When needed to be called on, its generally "too late" and when you die the insurance co pockets the left overs. The insurance company has nothing to gain in this law? And now I am being TAXED for NOT having this insurance?? This whole Obamacare thing stinks of Unconstitutional.
And for those who in question of TAXED on something I don't have... You are fined on the Form 1040, resulting in a higher tax burden for NOT having health insurance.

PS

My post titled "What are the chances" having received many comments does deserve a post script. Lets say you are Catholic (for arguments sake) born, raised and died doing all of God's Suggestions, hints and commandments. You are dead, heart attack, cancer, old age, what ever... you are standing at what
you would "assume to be the pearly gates" and come to meet, Zeus, Achilles, Apollo, Dianicess and the like. Standing at the front steps of Mount Olympus. Didn't see that one coming did you?

Healthcare or Taxes; you be the judge

Well lets look at this; Taxation without representation, a bunch of corrupt politicians, a president that is in office illegitimately (not born in the USA)  "Affordable Healthcare? Do you not see the way you are getting screwed? Even if you are getting a "tax return" (think about that, Uncle Sam holding your money with no interest) aren't you getting less? Affordable Healthcare is anything but Affordable.  Remember the Boston Tea Party... Taxation without representation? What if the "representation" is a bunch of corrupt individuals? Just think about that.

Really?

One would think I was done with Samsung, but I will stick around and see if they "come to the light". My first experience with Samsung was a few years back, I acquired (got it free) a Samsung smartphone, yesterdays technology still on the market. At the time the Galaxy had been around and was up to Galaxy s3. I acquired the Galaxy Continuum; the first of the Galaxy line. Had some issues with that and went to Motorola for one phones life, about a year and a half; so here I am back at Samsung with the Galaxy s5. Everything was "cool" up till the last update. It never really crossed my mind so I didn't concern myself with the color of the dial screen; up till the last "system" update. It is now a hideous white, no lines separating the numbers. The only color to it is the title line, it is a reasonable teal green. All the rest is black fonts on a bright white background. As I said it is hideous. Through a call to my carrier, and snooping around the web, I found  the way to change this is "install an app". Now I am sure you know as well as I know; a free app will come with advertisements and who wants to buy an app just to change the color of a screen? The ads are, to say the least a nuisance; or am I the only one that clicks open an ad when trying to close a feature or program? So after about 5 install and uninstalls, a bunch of aggravation; I have now downloaded and installed an app just to color my dial pad. In this experience I also found out the "block notifications" with its handy calendar and time setting was removed from the system. I just found this to be true this morning at 3:00 am.  Which is the reason I had to incorporate 2 different apps today.

Circles

You may end up having to think with this post. I was designed that way. If you Do Not exclude any angle or direction you will eventually create a sphere... a circle. This is including Everything and so becomes what is known as the universe. Add to that the universe is moving in a circular motion, which will create galaxies. Which contain planets (spheres or circles) revolving in circles and revolving around a star or sun in a circle. Closer to home we have cyclones and hurricanes that resemble galaxies, circles again. Come to speak, fungus, if you have ever studied in general will form in a circle. Logically speaking it would not be so far off the mark to say life is a circle. No beginning, no end. Food for Thought.

Electronics

Has the electronic "message" replaced human contact? And what is with the text messaging? Isn't this supposed to be a phone? Now I did have an experience in which "texting" was a logical and effective tool; more about that later. As I sit here logged into my blogging site with my texting device, I am trying to change the world just a little bit at a time. I  find texting to be a great tool, a "personal memo" if you will. Not a real useful way to "get to know" someone. Beyond the lol's and smileys the message is devoid of emotion and inflection not to mention gesturing and body language. Do phone calls even exist any more? "A phone call" that's what my mom always said, "if you are going to be late". Made sense, then she knew I hadn't been abducted, wasn't in the hospital or in jail and she could speak with me. My mother had this skill of knowing if I was lying, even on the telephone. In steps the "text message". You just type it and send it. One of the better features of the text message is the location stamp. "I'm over at Fred's working on his car" with a location stamp saying  "sent from Joe's Bar and Grille" is sure to go over well with your wive.
